value of super M stuck

There is a super M for sale nearby with a stuck motor. The guy doesn't really know what to ask but says he will sell for the right price. Just wondering what you would offer. It has a factory wide front, tires are worn and weather checked, block appears to be ok, sheet metal is fairly rough but fixable, wrong battery box, needs seat. Currently has a 3 point but he is selling that seperately for $150 and I think I'm going to buy that anyway to put on my 450 so I would like to value the tractor without the 3point hitch. It is a 1953 made in chicago. Thanks for any input.

$1,000.00 and get him to leave the hitch on. The tractor is worth 500.00 and the wide front will bring 500.00. (Prices in your area may very.)

Depending on the brand of the wide front just that is worth around $500 in this area. The tractor if it had a trike front would be worth maybe $300 in this area so that brings it up to around $700.

Around $600 in WI, maybe more since it is a widefront.

If it is Stage II with live hydraulics and IF the pump is good the hydraulics are worth more than the rest of the tractor.

Good call, I forgot about the fact that it could have live hyd! That would be worth more than the wide front!!!
