Uneven belly mower cutting

I have a Woods L59 on my Farmall A tractor. I recently replaced the blades, but when I mowed today, I noticed that the middle blade doesn't get a very good even cut (like the side one's do). Is the pulley not tight enough? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Could be a bent blade, the spindle is loose or wore out, the blade isnt tight enough or on crooked, or upsode down. I have noticed though, on the one Woods mower I have, and even my ZTR mower with 3 blades, the cut isnt as good as it was a couple of years ago, like the blades ar being made cheaper now-a-days or something.

The outer blades are being driven off the middle blade, and there's only one long belt for the whole mower, so I don't see how the pulley couldn't be tight enough. It would have to be seized in the bearings, and if so, you'd smell burning rubber pretty quick.

You must've put the blade on upside down. If that ain't it, get under there, grab the ends of the blades and see if it wiggles. Wiggles mean bad bearings.

Is your mower a 59 or an L59. If I remember from working on them years ago a Farmall uses a straight 59 whereas an L59 is used on AC's because the way they are set up the blade's turn opposite the Farmall's. It is possible that one blade could be different than the other two. Don't know, but is just a thought.

check your belt routing and make sure all the blades are turning in the right direction. not sure if its possible on the woods to get one turning backwards, but my hustler zero turn, its pretty easy to route them wrong. then check your blade heights to make sure the mower is level side to side, and then check front to rear. with the blades lined up front to rear, the fronts should be 1/4 to 3/8 inch lower than the rear for a good cut. if you want a handy dandy tool, stop by a john deere dealer and get a blade measuring tool. they are only about 15 dollars or so , but handy as heck. here a pic of mine.
