I’m restoring a ’54 Cub and I found that the oil seal for the PTO shifter shaft (IHC part number 351 291 R1) is no longer available (my old one was just felt and it didn’t do a very good job of sealing).
I did a little measuring/searching and found that SKF seal number 4909 is a good replacement and is available at NAPA. It is a conventional seal (i.e., metal and elastomeric). Hopefully, it will actually keep the oil in the transmission (ha!).
