Attention Missouri guys!! SH info

My buddies SH has these numbers stamped on the SN tag. It was bought at an auction in central MO a few years back I believe. We know it's nothing factory but we're curious as to what it meant. Maybe belonged to the state or a university at some time??? Anyone have a guess or recognize this stamp?

Nearly all state of Missouri and university inventory control numbers would have been printed on a paper or vinyl adhesive tag. A couple departments like Transportation and Conservation might have used different types of nmbering systems.

Just on a hunch, I cked the number and found it is a valid Driver's License # in a western state. Could be that the previous owner stamped his dl # on the tag to facilitate recovery in the event it was stolen. That's just the cop in me doing my thing.

Any possible way you could share what information you found with me? Or would that even be legal??

I just thought that if you're right it would be neat to find out some history of the tractor and share with them the finished product of our restoration.

It reminds me of a drivers license #, M for Missouri and the rest will be numbers.
