Super C leaking hyd fluid into mtr struggling with archives

I have a farmall SC that is leaking hydraulic fluid into the motor. Because I read these forums for fun I knew exactly what was going on. Pump works great other wise. After every use I put in a couple cups of hydraulic fluid and open the top oil check valve in the oil pan and drain the excess. It's time to fix it now and I can't find the posts that address this more clearly. I want to know what the part # is for the front seal. If my pump shaft is scored what's the process is for getting a speedy sleeve installed. Any advise on how retrieve posts from the archives would be great.

Get a rebuild kit for the pump from the dealer. It will have the other things you need other than the seal (It also comes with instructions). You can get a seal as well or go to a bearing seal place and get a new seal and sleeve. The new seals are thinner than the original but seam to work ok. I made a spacer for mine. Sleeve goes on during reassembly. Just take your time and it pretty much explains itself.

Item No4 is the seal and item No11 is the part that will probably have a groove worn into the surface. If it has a groove you'll need a speedi-sleeve kit with a new seal. Hal

If you know a CaseIH dealer that can get a repair kit, I would like to know where. They did have a couple of gaskets. I went through a pump on a SA last year and never found a dealer with #13 in El Toros diagram. IH used 3 different pumps on the SA, Pesco, Thompson and Cessna( maybe a 4th)all similar but different. As it turned out, my seal was good and I found a workable #13 at a hydraulic shop.

I was able to get my repair kit at my local Case IH dealer (Weiss Equipment in Frankenmuth, MI) - It had to be special ordered, but came with a #13. I had most parts outside of the kit purchased as individual pieces - since my pump does not use the seal (#4) sold seperately fromt the kit, it uses an O-ring instead, as that is not an individual item. Give me an e-mail and tomorrow I culd shoot over a phone number if needed - I am sure they could help with a part number for ordering to the local dealer or possibly a direct ship.

Granted I had a Pesco think p/n 25012406? Unsure of the parts with the other models.

Hello. I saw your post on YT and was wondering if you were able to locate the rebuild kit? I have a IH300U that is leaking fluid at the other end (distributor/tach) so badly I can't operate the tractor. However, from what I can see, the rebuild kits are "obsolete" on caseih.com. If you found a source, I would much appreciate it!

According to Messick's site, the kit is available for the Pesco pump but not the Thompson. The individual seals are available for either although there are some part number substitutions. Any dealer should be able to help you out although some are better at it than others.
