560D fuel tank return elbow

I am in need of a new fuel return elbow under the tank for my 560D. I took it out while cleaning up the fuel system because it was blocked up with crud. While cleaning it I inadvertently destroyed the ball and spring check inside of it. Does anyone know of a good source for these or am I gonna have to see my CaseIH dealer who wants over $100 for the little critter? I would put in a used one if I knew I could find one that worked. Whats the consensus? Should I look for a good used one or bite the bullet and get the overpriced new one?

With as many that have fallen to the bone yards this should not be a problem and as for paying case I H prices they can suck and egg . I just went thru there new price thing last week on a NEW part on a 1086 PTO and HAD i knowen i would have made a phone call and got my old customer a compleat USED unit and put new clutches and seal in it and with labor he would have been ahead 200 buck or more . after that deal everybody should boycott them and let them EAT there over priced parts . The input shaft for a hyd. PTo the same shaft that is used on a 706 thru a 86 series NOT counting the out put 540 shaft and clutch packs seals and gskt. JUST THE INPUT with shipping was over 950 . So let them eat there 100 dollar part , ya may want to drop off some salt and pepper so they can add some seasoning to add flavor .

Just use it without the check ball and spring. The only difference is that fuel will leak out the line if it is disconnected from the pump. Later tractors ran the fuel return to the top of the tank and eliminated the check valve.
