I've got a BN that I converted to 12 volt system with Bob M help. I bought a new battery at that time that is now only about a year old. It has always started and ran good. I always leave the cable off when not used to keep it safe for kids trying to start it by accident. It was dead the other day and only tested 9 volts. I load tested it and pulled down to 6 volts. Put it on the charger and it doesn't charge. It didn't give any indication it was going bad, just all of the sudden dead. Anybody ever have this trouble before? Thanks

Yep I have seen them do that and I'll bet you have one bad cell in it and that is all it takes.

Thanks Old. I bought it at Advance Auto so it should have some warranty left on it. Have a good Holiday.
