HIGH CROP 140

This winter the block busted on my high crop. Want to find someone to furnish and install a new block and go through the tractor and fix what is needed. Don"t want it painted or restored. It is my gardening tractor that I use for cultivating and just trying to get it back in shape.

Asuming its ctacked behind the carb where they crack gring it clean and fiberglass or you can use atha rubber cement used when installing windshields or JB WELD can work its worth a try i have one thats been running for many yrs now fixed with the rubber cement. Now if you are getting coolant in the oil that probably means the bolck has cracked at the topbetween the bores and thats another thing. I would patch the block outside then use the tractor and see what happens.

Getting a Local Good Mechanic is tough. I would go to other farmers in the area and ask for a recommendation for competancy. The answer is not going to be cheap, but wll be worth it in the long run. If it is working now, I would make the suggestion that you put effort into getting a engine and having it "built" then this late fall when things taper off, have it replaced, as well as the other ingredients you mention.
