the bearings seem like they are to small of a diameter to go over my camshaft anything i can do about that been trying to hone them out so they just fit?

You have to install the cam bearings in the block first and then hone or scrape them to fit the camshaft.

Unless you have the wrong bearings they should fit right after installing if done with the proper tool. If they don't fit freely before installing I would think they are the wrong ones. If you have them installed, are they in the right place? Sometimes that will make a difference too. Smaller ones go to the rear of the block.
