What was the last H

Could someone fill me in on what the serial number of the last H built was before they started making the SH?

I'm looking to possibly buy ser# 391024 and it has some SH options. I was just curious how close it was to the end of production of the H.

#397130 was the last H b uilt according to Guy Fay's "Internnational Harvestor Tractor Data Book"

I think the only serial break was for the IH disk brakes, and that was at 391357, higher than the 391024 you are looking at. Only if the cast housings have 5 bolts are they IH disk brakes, otherwise they are Lambert brakes that could be installed much earlier in production. But, if they are IH brakes, I suppose with the serial that close to the break, they could have been installed at the factory, on the same day of the break. The other things are in the parts book. But, with no serial break, anyone could have installed the lights, etc. As to your question in RPM, whether a restored version would bring $16000+ at auction as one did in 2008, even if yours qualified it would take at least two crazy people to get it that high that wanted it REAL bad. (For those who do not read Red Power Magazine, serial# 391406 brought $16250 on 8/24/08).

You're right. I inverted the & & the 1. Should read 391730. Old age is catching up , actually is passing me by :~(
