Loader Tines

I have a No. 31 loader on my H. Most of the time I use a blade modified to bolt onto the loader (with the bucket off) for clearing the lane of snow, etc. However, the bucket would be great for overturning the compost pile. The trouble is, there are only four tines on it. Any idea where I could find another trip bucket for the loader, or just additional tines? Thanks, guys.

couldnt you just buy some flat or square stock ,etc.cut to length, drill holes for bolts,...make your own?

Well, I dunno. The existing tines are spring steel or hardened stuff, I think. I dunno if simple flat stock will do, but I could try it.

I made one for my SC loader, bent the crap out of it the first time I used it. You will need to go to a steel supplier and take an old tine with you, they can fab up a couple easily.

You'd be surprised. That #31 loader can lift about a ton. If you catch the load with only one tine, it will bend. They can be straightened, but only so many times.

Thanks, Roger. Got a coupla questions: What kinda shape is it in, and whaddya want for it? According to Google Maps, I'm about 7 hours away from Lake Mills, Say, I don't suppose you're going to the Red Power Roundup, could bring it with you? I'm heading for it (never been to one before; REALLY looking forward to it). Thanks!
