Fast Hitch 2 row cultivator

Did IH ever make a 2 row Fast Hitch cultivator for the smaller (Super C, 200) tractors? I'm getting too old to wrestle the old front mount to put on Cmore. I bet they're rare if they did make one!! Thanks, Cmore

They made a model 254-A for the Super C in 953 and 1954 which would also work on the 200 tractors. I don't know what might have been made later as my source (Fast Hitch Implements for Supe C tractors - FCI-2) was printed in 1955. The 254-A appears to be a tool bar type with various components to adapt it to many different uses. If you have specific crops or needs my email is open and I'll look up what is available for whatever you intend to use the implement for to see what might have been offered. Hope this helps, Hal

They did make a fast hitch cultivator that held 3 shanks. It covers the wheel tracks. It was designed to work in conjunction with the mounted cultIvators. My fast hitch implement book doesn't show a full fasthitch cultivator. I do have a buddy who converted a 2 row 3 point cuLtivator to fasthitch. He used the points off of a fast hitch middle buster tool bar. It works perfect and looks good.

Unless your heart is set on it being genuine IH, any old 3pt 2-row cultivator can be easily converted to Fast Hitch by simply welding (or bolting) on a set of points. Agrisupply sells the points, though I don't know of the points are the Super C size, or the 300/400 size.

Dad had a round bale carrier that was made for a Cat. II 3 point and he had a large size Fast-Hitch drawbar welded onto it... it could be used either way. Bet you could do the same with a 3 point toolbar type two row cultivator. If IH did make a cultivator like that, it's no doubt very rare.
