I know that this is not a pressureized system, but it is throwing water from the overflow, Water temp is 210 degreees, lower hose-casting is just warm to the touch. Has a preesure style cap on the rad. When I took the cap off there was no pressure there. Any one had this problem with a cub before?

Thanks

too much water in it

lose the pressure cap as it is designed to be a non pressure system.
let it find it's own water level
should be just above the fins and way low to what you think
good luck

Icuby,
I don"t know how long you"ve had this problem but check and make sure the radiator is clean and the fan shroud is in place. My Cub had a heating problem when I got it. All it needed was a fan shroud.
If those issues don"t solve the problem, I would use some radiator flush and clean the system.
After that you"re probably need to open it up.

Good luck,

I would go with Ron's advice - I had a Cub running hot and changed the pressure cap to a stock one. End of problem.

Usually pressure caps are designed wrong for a Cub radiator, and won't seal anyway.

If you fill the radiator right to the top, the Cub will throw water even if nothing is wrong. Let it seek it's own level.

After you let it cool, shine a light down in the radiator neck. If you can see that the fluid level is above the fins in the radiator, it's fine.
