Can a hitch for a M be made to fit a 300 with out quick hitch

The box steel from a M that fits in the forward slot in the axle housing, that is used for clamping the drawbar suports to the axle won't fit in most slots on a 300 axle housing. If a steel tubing like used on a lot of 400 or newer drawbars is used, they are more rounded and will go in the slots most times and the complete drawbar less swinging drawbar from a M will work.

Have put drawbar from 300 on M but never the other way so did not run into this problem. Probaly could tack 1/4 inch (or so) spacers that wil fit 300 axle onto M box, they do not call me Red Neck Customizer for no reason.
