Well..close to done. Waiting on a bit more paint to come to finish the wheels. Other than that I'm happy with how it turned out for a one-day spray. I started DA'ing it down at 9am, and had color on it by 2pm. Let the paint harden for a few days, tossed the decals on, and rolled it out today.

Looks great makes my old rusty M look bad though. Rather proud of my old M, Bush Hogged about 6 hours this week and ran near perfect.

Looks really nice, how did you do the rear rims and wheels without over spray? I'm planning on doing one shortly and I don't want to remove the tires. Any tricks to share?

Yep, looks good. However, if you are going to post it here, you need to supply the details on how you cleaned it up, masked it, and painted it in 5 hours. And you did something to the tires too? Thanks for a little insight for a job well done.

I just pulled the back rims off to spray them. Only takes a minute to do. Masked them off quick with some tape and sprayed them.

Thanks, all the info is in the first post. I went over it lightly with a DA sander, and started painting.

(quoted from post at 18:22:18 05/14/10) So why not the front wheels and hubs.

For the same reason I mentioned in my post. As I said, I ran out of paint. They will get done this week.
