super a highway orange

does anyone have a orange paint code for a 54 super a? my super a was orange prior to 1977 when we bought it. it was used to mow levees in illinois. It had international on the hood,IH on the grill,foot throttle, a super a emblem on the hood, front axle brace, and a heavy round axle with 7" spindles. it appears that the axle and brace were yellow,but the rest of the tractor was orange. the model# is FAA1 ser 33k. the only thing that is not original that i can tell is the transmission as it has no orange paint under it. i found a IH paint code of #1211 highway orange at the wisconsin historical society website, but it does not cross to any of the paint vendors i checked. any help in identifying my tractor or paint color would be appreciated.
 
If you know the agency that had the tractor they may (probably not) be able to tell you. It depended on who had the tractor, I don't think there is any standard as the states differed in the color of their highway equipment. If it was a county tractor, and they are using the same color, someone may know.

Go to NAPA or any good auto parts store that sells paint and just ask for "highway orange". I beleive it is one of the standard "safety colors".
