450 oils

changing the oil in the rear end of a farmall 450 with T/A. i noticed the check plugs are on the same level and basing this off of the rest of the tractor, i am going to assume the seals between the trans and the t/a housing leak. correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe the rear end took 80-90, and the t/a took hy trans. what would it hurt to put hy tran in the whole system, assuming the seals will mix the oils anyway and i know that 80-90 will torche the t/a. thanks for any input.

hy tran is what you want in the thing. on anything with a ta.

The TA, transmission, and final drives all share a common sump. The PTO is separate. Hy-Tran oil in everything.
