W450 D carb air valve

The start carb on my 1957 W450 D is running ritch,after desmantaling I noticed the air valve that fastens to the air valve spacer is missing,any help to obtain,or can this piece be hand made,Thanks Terry Kiwi

Looks like it would be easy to make, could get the size and post if wanted. Have a parts carburetor I would sell one from also.

Missing as in it was there and now it's gone, or missing as in removed by somebody long ago?

In other words, has it gone through the engine, or perhaps is still trapped in the manifold waiting it's turn to do evil.

Yes Mate,made the valve up on the lath to your spec's and she works perfect!Thanks.Have been trying to find a tack drive gear,the nylon teeth are gone,cable is free, Kiwi Terry
