Decals for 1951 Farmall C

I need to get a decal set for my "C"...This site sells a Mccormick set and a Mccormick Deering set. Which one is correct??

Also, the sets shown here dont include the IH logo next to the Mccormick Deering/Farmall located on the hood...Shouldnt that be a part of either set???

One more question, the grille on this tractor has holes spaced about 7" or 8" apart in the front, but the front emblems for this tractor appear to be a small square IH emblem...What is correct here??

Thanks!!!! Mark

It depends on the year. The earlier C's had McCormick Deering without the IH. The wider 7 in bolt pattern held the "Farmall" insignia. I know they were on the A"S and B's, but not sure about the early C's The C's I owned both had the small IH insignia.

I think 1950 is the cutoff for the McCormick vs. McCormick-Deering decals.

1948 and 1949 models would have McCormick-Deering without the IH logo.

If you don't know what year your tractor is, use the serial number link to the left of this page.

ALL C's had the IH on the hood. Deering was supposedly dropped from all letter series in mid 1949. The IH on the hood appeared, I believe, in 1945. I am positive it was there in late 1947, as my dad's H had it. Rumor has it that the earliest C's had the Farmall emblem on the grill, I don't think so. I have a 1948 C with IH on the grill.

I believe that 1945 date is correct for the "IH" logo appearing on the hood decal. Includes ALL of the letter series.

I bought a 51 Super C 5 years ago from a Colorado Department of Corrections auction(prison farm). It has on the from grill Farmall versus IH. I often wonder if that was correct. The history of the tractor was bought new by the CDC and never been repainted. Wished it had a hour meter, there were no dents, pedals perfect, drawbar hole perfect, can't have many hours. My dad bought brand new in 52 a Super C and it has the IH enblem. Don't know if mine is correct?
