Interesting 5288?

Someone may find this interesting. I purchased a 5288 a few months ago from Crary Manufacturing (Fargo, ND). The dealer tag (still visible) is a company in Scottsbluff, NE. The tractor has a red frame, Emco axle, and the white cab. If I am reading the serial number correct, it is the 17th one built. I thought this was an interesting find since I was only looking for a larger loader tractor. I would love to get some comments about this tractor or the first run of tractors.

Interesting indeed, post on red power, there may be some more info, several 88 series experts on there.

Never seen one with a white cab and the motor painted red on a 30 or 50 series tractor.
You sure it's not a not a 86 series that someone put 50 series sheat metal on. Does it have a 18 speed power shift, the 50 series or a 8 speed, the 86 series transmission? If it is a 86 series the shifter will be on the left sitting in the seat.

If I remember correctly didn't the air cleaner filter on the 86 series face the side like the 66 series? Was the starter in view on the 86 as it is on this 5288? I know they made some changes on the 86 series during its production. I may be thinking of earlier models. Whatever, this 5288 is different.
