Cultivating with a Cub

Is there any way to disable the front gangs on my 48 Cub while still maintaining the functionality of the rear? I'm used to a Super A with independant rock shaft controls for front and back. I like to use only the rear gang when laying off rows. I see no way of supporting the front gangs if I disconnect them from the rock shaft and totally removing them every time would be a pain. Thanks

Make a strap that attaches to the front gang actuator lever and will reach to a bolt hole on the torque tube. Make a hook that can be placed on a shanked bolt to support the front when hooked in the full up position. Lower the set a tiny amount and disconnect the front rock shaft connector. bungy the connector to the new strap, and bungy the strap hook down to prevent "excitment". Jim

Similar things for sure, but not on a cub. I am just creatively giving the advice I would follow myself. Jim

buy a hand lift
install it on the cub
then the hyd will lift the fronts
hand lift will lift the backs
works real good for the people that are very particular cultivating their gardens
good luck
