I was wondering what experience people have had by adding slime to fix a flat tire. My boss swears by it and it appears I was able to fix a wagon tire with it. My wagon tire had a tube in it that wasn't too old. How's it worked for others?

About a year ago, I bought a gallon jug of slime. I've used it in lawn tractor tires, car tires, dry rotted tires and a hand truck tire. So far, they are sealed tight. I love the stuff.

I have never used it.
FWIW however I know that some tire shops will ask when you bring a flat in IF it has been slimed. They will refuse to work on it if it has.

It has worked good for me. I only use about half as much as they say and it has worked fine. Fixed a 15.5 38 with it once. Worked great until it got below freezing. Then the tractor could be down for two days. Haven't had a tire shop ask about slime. I always blow compressed air in the valve stem before putting the valve back in, otherwise the valve might not seal with the particles in the slime.

Used it once and never again. Works fine until you have to change it and then you have a ---- of a mess. Like previous poster said most tire shops won't work on tires with slime in them.

works good for slow leaking tube types. not very good for faster tube leaks but will stop a faster leak in tubeless types.

I use it on a regular basis. I've had great luck with it. Atv,lawn mower, bicycle etc.
Never tried it on a tube type tire. I usually just repair/replace the tube.
