I have a elderly lady that had her farmall cub vadleized the put suger in the gas and oil in the water i was going to fix it but wasnt sure if it would need a rebuild or just a good cleaning in it

Just drain it all out and clean it up the best you can and let ir ride. the oil in the water isnt going to matter much unless it was run alot, then atg the most its just going to sludge up. I have heard what sugar does to gas, but I have never seen it personally.

Well if the Myth buster are correct you just need to drain flush and refill every thing and go. They did a show years ago about sugar in the gas and ran and engine for hours that way and had no problem. Now is that T.V. hype or true I can not tell you

If it still runs, it is easily a cleaning job (fuel and cooling system flush) Do it.
If stuck, it will need a tear down to assess damage. Jim

I just put some brown cane sugar into an empty Tuna fish can and added some gas that I bought yesterday. The sugar did not disolve nor did the molassas in the brown sugar discolor the gas. It appears that gasoline is not a solvent for sugar.

Another urban ledgend that goes back a long time. I remember my mother talking about it 55 years ago.

Drain the rad. and fill it with water. Add a half cup of Draino and run the engine at a high idle. When it is warmed up for awhlie stop the engine and drain the rad. Refill with water and add a half of cup of baking soda. Run the engine again till warm and then drain it again. Refill it with coolant and go on with life.
IH use to sell a flush that came in a two part can in the 60's and the 70's. It had drain cleaner in one end and baking soda in the other!

had some, we"ll call them a person, sugared my m"s gas last year, all it does is settle to the sediment bowl and carb.just flushed the tank cleaned sediment bowl and got major revenge

drain the cooling system the oil there wont hurt a thing it should drain out. Drain the carb and tank let a little clean gas flow thru the system with the drain plug out of the carb and it should be ready to go. Dont sound like a big deal.

thanks for the help i keep mine in a shop under lock i spoil it but i am going to try to get the cub down she has 2 of them one for each of her girls so i may be doing two of them
