Working on changing clutch through bottom hole on a Super M (12 inch clutch). Don't seem to quite be enough room to get the assembly out. I remove drive coupler, spring, clutch cross shaft, compressed pressure plate with 3 - 5/16 bolts, removed pressure plate to flywheel bolts.... Do you have to remove anything on transmission side of coupler? Or is there something special about the angle the shaft has to be in before it will drop out?

Thanks for any help!

Pressure plate won't come out of super without splitting, disc will but that will most likely not do what you are intending to do.

Thanks for the information....I was afraid of that. I don't mind splitting an M but this one was painted about six months ago and I did not want to do it.

Thanks again!
