Just got a set of 2 row cultivators for my farmall H and was woundering if there is suppost to be a spacer in the front of the tractor where the bars hook onto the grill. If i just bolt them right to the holes it will push the grill in. Maybe my grill is just bent out of shape?

On the ones we used as a kid (lotsa years ago) there was a bracket that bolted to bolster through the two holes in the grill. They had a spacer in between the bracket and the bolster. There were two pins attached to the bracket that the braces went to. The braces were kept in place with cotter keys. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Kelby, as I recall it was a half-inch thick plate (probably and inch and a half from top to bottom) and probably four inches wider than the distance between the holes in the front bolster (with the "pegs" described by one of those who responded). If you don't have or make a plate like this, I think the arms which attach will be too short. If you want, I'll try to draw a picture and fax it to you.
