Super c with fast hitch. 2 point plow, correct 4 tractor.

someone lost my damn extension that goes from the front of the fast hitch, to the rock-shaft(right side)
this is the bar that is removed from clutch housing, and connected to rock-shaft for plowing,

where can I find that extension, or can someone tell me the measurements from hole to hole, so I can make one?
any help would be appreciated!

Andy

Good luck finding one. Fast hitch parts are some of the toughest to come by, believe you me... When they do come up, it's usually on Ebay, and the bidding is like being thrown in a tank of live lobsters without their rubber bands.

What I would do is make the bar out of two pieces of heavy flat strap, whatever thickness fits into the clevis on the touch control arm. Overlap and drill about every inch or so for about 18" so that the length is adjustable.

Roll the right-hand touch control rockshaft all the way ahead. That equates to "all the way up" on the front of the fast hitch, so jack the hitch to the full up position in front. Now you can figure out your length pretty easily.

I'd still make it adjustable, with the length you just figured out being about the middle of the adjustment range.

I have been looking for one for 10 years. I plow without it but would work much better with it. I have a friend that has one on his tractor I hope to make a pattern from and have one made.

I asked this a while back, and was told that the original wasnt adjustable...the one I have is just a piece of round bar with a flattened bit on one end. If your interested, I can go outside sometime this week and get the measurements for you.

If it's not adjustable, how can it connect way down low on the torque tube AND way up high on the touch control arm?

Andrew from NS is correct. it"s a piece of iron rod, that pins in the rube, and then fastens to the rock-shaft. it merely extends the draft tube, and is non-adjustable.

yes please send the measurement in. is would not be too difficult to make one from iron rod.

I know you might not get this but the bar extends and attaches to the rock shaft. You could use a turnbuckle of the right length and replace the solid extension rod. You would have to stop and dismount to make adjustments. My tube was damaged and I can't collapse the extension tube. I have to store the extension off the tractor when not needed. If you want to fab one, send me an email and I will do a drawing and give you the dimensions.
