Wiring

I posted back on April 25 a question about the generator wiring for a 706 Gas. There is no markings on the generator and the posts are the same size. I have two wires but I did not mark them when removing. John T stated there is a method with an Ohmeter. John, or someone else if you can help Thanks

When looking at the brushes, one is grounded to the case. The other goes to the (A)rmature terminal. The (F)ield terminal is connected to the field coil winding inside the case. Th other end of the field coil winding is attached to the A terminal inside the case.
