farmall ignition switch

When switching a farmall 230 tractor from 6 volt to 12 volt do you have to change the ignition switch or is the switch the same for 6 volt and 12 volt hook ups. Thanks Diana

No issue, the switches would be good to 24 volts or more with no problem. Jim

The stock Farmall ignition switch will operate fine without any problems with 12 volt ignition current.

As long as you are not going from a mag to battery ign, you should be fine.
