350 Utility Power Steering

Hi List, does anyone know how tight the large nut on the steering shaft should be? I"m talking about the large, clamping the power steering control unit together.

I recently changed the oil seals but it still leaks out the top of the steering column. I don"t think I have the nut torqued correctly but I do not want to go too tight and break something.

Thanks,
Scott

There are three large nuts. One holding the steering wheel on (maybe 75ft/lbs)
and two larger nuts on the steering arms going forward on the tierods (probably 200 to 250 ft/lbs)
None of these nuts has any effect on the leakage.
The upper column has three bolts holding it onto the cast base. These must be removed if the inner seal is to be replaced. Jim
