Cub hydraulics (hot)

Im working on a Cub and the hydraulics are getting very very hot in less then 1 min or run time. I am assuming that the relief/ safety valve is stuck and causing a major restriction in the TC unit. I just want to pass that by here and see what others thought. I am using hytran oil so that is not the problem. I also do not think it is air in the system. I have rebuilt these before but never had one get to the point were you cant touch the pump or the TC unit~

thanks for the input

One of the controls is adjusted so that the cylinder is continually getting pressure. This dead heading causes the relief to open and heat to build radically. It could be a stuck relief, but the system is supposed to be open centered, No pressure when not moving. Jim
