Hello I have a 340 1962 utility tractor I am having oil leaking out of the seal on the drive axle left side. What do I need to do to fix this is it an oil seal on the outside axle housing or do I need to do more than that. I also noticed that when I use the left brake it seems to stick after use, can oil or what be getting there also. Thank you, Brian

If it's like a 350 the seal sits in the bolt on cap. That takes care of the seal = pull the wheel and the cap. A lot of times the bearings have to be replaced, though. The outside bearing comes right out, but the inside would have to have the axle shaft pulled.

Before you tear into anything , pull the drain plug on the diff. You may have so much water in there its raising the oil level above normal, Its happened to my fleet.....
