1939 Farmall A

Does anyone know where I can get a new clutch pedal return spring and 2 new brake pedal return springs? Mine are badly rusted and the clutch pedal spring has practically no tension left at all.

A CaseIH dealer has them or can get them. Sit down before you ask the price.

I buy a piece of bulk spring and make my own. But if you dont know how to do that you can get them from OEM and others. Did you have fun getting the pan head screws off the pedal guard so you can get to them. What pan head screws are you going to use to replace the originals

Hi,

Mine didn't have machine screws. All bolts. 5/16-24 in the front two and three 5/16 - 18 on the platform.. But I guess the platform should be machine screws, now that I look closely at the manual. bolts. I'll get them tomorrow!
