Farmall M Throtle

I was hoping to maybe get a little help. I have a Farmall M and the throtle will not stay where I put it. I thought it may be the spring that was broken but I replaced it and no luck. It looks as if there were no teeth on this particular model. I looked a few times and I see no marks that they were once there. There is a thin pressure plate I am assuming between the body and the lever. Any help would be greatfull. Thank you in advance.

Yes, There is supposed to be a fiber washer in there. That and a spring that holds it in tension. I can get you a new disk if you want. they are $3.50 ea

How about the spring too. I didn't use the correct one made for the job.
