Chirping sound coming from the hydraulic pump area. Inspected the pump but found no problem. Fluid is milky. Any suggestions would be appreciated

If it is a gas 560, I would check the distributor bushings and point rubbing block.
The oil needs to be heated to 150 degrees or so for a day or two to drive out moisture. Or replace the hytran fluid and clean the screen! Pumps can chirp but usually buzz or whine more often. if it is working well, changing the fluid may be all that is needed. (plus checking the dist. if equipped. Jim

I like the suggestion about checking points wear block as they can send noises to funny places. Had that happen to me on my 41 chev in 1955. Looked all over heck for long time. With that being said, the hyd probably is "chirping" due to regulator valve (unloading valve) popping back and forth on and off to high pressure. I would check the orfice screen in regulator block assembly. Under four bolt hydraulic block . Caution, has heavy spring on relief valve, use a couple of longer bolts in corners to ease removal and assembly. If it is this you will be feeling a pulse on large hose from pump to valves. Other things can cause this also, like poorly operating hitch valve and or double to single action controls on hyd valves, bent or broken pins etc where you turn them.
