farmall F20

I think they did, however I have been told that first gear out of a Regular was the same as the optional low first gear in a F-20. This may give you another option. BT

Yes they did make a low first gear for the f20. The gear part number is 29871-d. This gear would drop your first gear speed down about .4 to .5 miles an hour. So if you were going 2.5, with this gear you would be going about 2.1. Hope this helps. Not sure about the Regular gear but I"ll see what i can find.

No offense intended, but the F20 is already geared pretty low. What are you looking to do...........inquiring minds want to know! 8)

After serial number FA81637(march 37) the low-low 1.95mph gear was standard. Its not one gear its a set of 2.
The gear sets don't mean a whole lot by themselves because of the multitude of wheel, tire and rim sizes for the 20. A shorter set of rears would probably have more effect.

I go to a tractor pull that the tractor has to be 1945 or older it is a dead weight pull. so low gears are they way to go. I like the F20 just thought it would be neat.A couple farmall m's that are low geared usually win.

ok, that would make sense. The F-20 is around 20+/- HP at the drawbar. If you really want to turn heads, pick up an F-30, and put F-20 decals on it.

Most guys won't be able to spot the difference! 8)

Good luck!
