IH Refrgerator

I found a 1953 IH refrigerator L-84-D in working order for sale. Is it worth collecting and are there parts avialable that anyone knows of? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Anything IH is worth collecting. I have two refrigerators and two freezers. I got the freezer to keep popsicles and ice cream for the kids in. It worked so well we now have a half steer in it.

As for parts, I don"t think you can find anything. Don"t know. All of mine work. Even 70 years later.....

I think it is a novelty to have in the shed full of red tractors. Kind of like signs and such.

Thank you for your reply. The door needs a new handle and the freezer needs a new drip tray. Otherwise, it runs good. I agree it would make a nice novelty to add to my collection of tractors too. I have never seen one before in all the years I have gone to farm and garage sales. Thanks, Bob
