Bought new project home

Bought Farmall C with wide front end. Need a few parts such as grill, hood, rear fenders, generator to change back to 6 volts. New rear tires on tractor and rims are in great shape. Serial number shows to be a 1948 model. Ladies husband bought new and is a one owner. Has a 3 point hitch on tractor. I'm keeping a lot of my old BN parts to hopefully use some of them. If you have any of these parts, let me know. Will be selling the 3 point hitch because have no use for. Time to get my hands dirty again. Feel kind Tim the tool man again. ARRRRRR.
 
I dunno...sounds like kind of a good project to me. Those parts that are missing are all money items but shopping around ought to find some of them and looking can be as enjoyable as finding. Hopefully you gotcha a deal on it seeing as it needs a few things!
 
Does $300.00 dollars sound to high? Put battery in tractor, put some fresh gas in tank, a couple of shots of starting fluid and drove on to trailer. I know by looking that the other parts that I am looking for are high dollar items. But a good all together tractor that hasn't been ragged out means a lot. Now I need to get rid of the bush hog mower that came with it.

here are you located and what kinda shape is the bushhog in?
 
When I get it home and see what kind of condition it is in. I send out pictures of it. I am in the piedmont of NC.
 
Sounds like something I would have snapped up myself. I've had plenty of seat time in my life so currently I get more pleasure from working on them. Have fun with it.
 
$300 sounds like you paid for one tire and rim and they threw in the rest of the tractor abd bush hog.
