camshaft gears

Does the camshaft gears for the h, sh, 300, and 350 interchange? I have a h and a sh but they are cracked and busted tooth. I just want to know if I have to get a certain one?

Unless I'm mistaken the answer is both yes and no. The gears from an H or Stage 1 Super H will interchange. Any of the later gears will interchange. Gears will interchange between the two groups but you have to swap the timing covers as well. Hopefully I got all that right, if not I'm sure someone will set me straight. Sam

They all use the same replacement gear. Earlier gears may be lighter than ones in later engines.
