I am going to look at a 300 tommorrow. I am told the torque is out ,will it still operate in the 5 gears similar to an H or Super H? The live power should not be affected?

Yes it will (unless the TA clutch is out). (rare) or the entire TA gear set is stripped. Also very rare). Live power is not driven through the TA, so it should be fine. If it does not work, it is not the TAs fault. Jim
