Cub Hood and Gas tank removal

I am in the process of completely rewiring my 1948 Cub. I need to remove the generator and voltage regulator for a rebuild. Can someone tell me the step by steps of removing the hood/gas tank. Thanks.

...just curious, where did you get your manual? This site has plenty of operators manuals for various attachments etc but I haven't yet found the definitive Cub Owners how-to book.
