Cub Cadet model 76

I am looking for the correct size drive belt for my 76 Cub Cadet lawn tractor. I purchased a new belt from parts tree, last year and it slips. The belt is routed correctly and pullies are clean.
Number on the belt are 0504*. The part number listed by parts tree is IH-549821-R1.
Any input would be great!

I have never worked on one of these - but why did you have to replace the belt... and did you have the old belt to compare to the new one?

You could also pose the question on the garden tractor forum and see what suggestions they have.

I replaced the original because it was cracked and strarting to shred. I ordered all new belts for the tractor from Parts Tree using their diagrams for this tractor. No I did dot keep the old belt, wish I would have kept the sleeve this belt came in also.
