Super A Plow - help request

I'm trying to retrofit an old horse drawn plow to my Super A. Does anyone have photos of a factory plow attachment. I wish to replicate the mounting hardware of the plow to the tractor. I have found photos of a Cub plow, but nothing (yet) on the Super A. Thanks in advance, Greg

You need to turn the drawbar forward and let it move up and down hooked to the rocker arm. You need a rockshaft assy between the rear fenders that wil likft and lower the plow into the ground. Beam on the plow will hook to the drawbar. Yours probably isnt long enough. Just use a chain from rear rockshaft to lift and lower the plow. You will have to make a solid bar to raise and lower the drawbar.as thats the way you set plowing depth.

Thanks Gene! I found information about turning the drawbar around hooking it up to the rocker arm with linkage to rase and lower the front of the plow. I do have the rockshaft assembly on the tractor for the rear linkage, so the part I'm most interested in replicating is the attachment of the beam to the drawbar.

It appears there is a bracket that has two springs on either side of the plow's beam with a pivot bolted to the drawbar . Do you (or anyone) have a close up photo or parts breakdown of this piece?

I've tried to purchase a plow for my Super A, but I've only found them on the East Coast and the cost of shipping to California is triple that of the plow. The plow that I'm using is a horse drawn-walk behind affair with a pretty long beam, I believe it will work relatively well. I'll post pictures as I get into this project.

You are correct about the hitch having the two springs. Just as long as your beam canhook to the drawbar is should work.Your beam mite not be long enough.

You're right again, the beam is short compared to a photo I found this afternoon on ebay. I can most likely fabricate an extension of some fashion; I only plan on using the plow in my vegetable garden.

Hopefully I can find the real deal somewhere here on this side of the States.

You may need to use a trial & see effort to get it to plow correctly. I had to do that with this plow before I found that it it needed to float free. This plow was off a Viking garden tractor and I had to make the frame almost exactly like the handles and drawbar on the Viking. It connects to the sleeve hitch with one pin and (2) 3/8-NF cap screws. It's pretty heavy, but the hydraulic lift handle's it easily. Hal
