Wide front for a B Farmall. What does it look like?

I may have found out back what I believe is a wide front for a B Farmall as I have been told. It is in good condition but does not have axels with it. The pivot is in the middle. Didn"t a B sit off to one side as I remember?

Like the others said, it's most likely off an A. The A front axles pivoted in the center of the axle, the pivot point on the tractor is offset from the center of the radiator in order to make the wheels line up.

Hi Leon,
Is the axle pivot center with the steering box? The A steering box is offset to the tractor. Sounds like you might have a C wide front. Blast me an email and I"ll send you a pic of my B with a wide front I built using a A steering box. I homemade the axle.

There was a B on ebay last year that had a wide front. They built it similar to a Schwartz, with a bolster that bolts to the front casting with the pivot under the center, and the steering must have had the plate bolted to the pedastal like a Schwartz, too.

It was somewhere in Indiana.

It is a round tube which fits into another larger tube with slotted ends. When the bolts are loosened (4 bolts) it could be slid in or out depending on adjustment needed. It is adjusted all the way in now with a measurement of about 37 inches from end to end. Is this something someone could use or should I hold on to it for a bit longer? Thanks for your help. When I was young, I know my dad had a B but he sold that years ago. I"m sure it must have been part of a parts tractor that was not used.
