IH 584 good or bad?

Looking at an IH584...seems pretty straight, paint is faded. Anything good or bad to look for on one of these? Ballpark value in Indiana?
Looking for a general purpose tractor to lift a few round bales and do odds and ends around the farm lot. No loader...would it make a good loader tractor? 2 wheel drive.

I bought a 684,have had it about 10 years,only problem was e brake being left on,plugged the hydraulics otherwise decent tractor.has 2250 loader.I paid 7500 for it then but would be lucky to get 6000 for it now as it needs paint,I'm in SE Indiana
 
Hi Reaver, very good tractor for 2250 loader. As someone else mentioned test the parking brake.
Three years ago my brother bought a 3230 with less than 300 hrs for $9700 CND. The 3230 is just a newer model of 584.

Depends on the size of the bale....

4x4 4x5 would be zero issue, 5x6 silage bale might be different...
