Swap of Distillate to Gas head on H?

Is it possible to swap just the cylinder head from distillate to gas, or will the distillate pistons strike the gas head or valves? Our head is in need of all valves and guides.

I was thinking why not give a little power boost by adding a gas head if we are going to have to build one anyway.

Shouldn't have any trouble doing that. Also swap that maniflod out for a regular gas manifold. You will be pleased with the power gains! Enjoy!

The old distillate manifold was rotted off, so we did purchase a new gas manifold as replacement. I havent seen the distillate manifold in reproduction???
