Where do I check the HyTran Fluid

On my Farmall 460D? I know where to add it, but where do I check it to see if it is low?

Left side , just ahead of clutch pedal on the main case-If I remember correctly it takes a 5/16ths little wrench.

Once you have checked the level, get a stick or tape measure and make your own dip stick that goes to the bottom. Mark the oil level. Then you never have to pull that plug again. You may also find that it is common on those old tractors to over fill by up to 5 gallons of hytran because of an air leak on the seal that goes to the pump. Make a mark for that if you ever need to do so. It doesn't hurt to run them over full like that.
