removing cylinder sleeves

I have to remove the sleeves in my 53 farmall h due to the fact one is cracked. I tried pounding them up from the bottom it did not budge. Is there a sleeve puller or other option I am not aware of? Thanks Todd

Yes you can buy them or you can make one out of some heavy steel and some fine threaded rod. The amount of pull that you need can vary a whole lot. I started out with heavy plate top and bottom, with some spacers on the top to hold the top plate up off the deck to give the sleeve some room to come up. On the bottom, once you get it freed up you need a disc that will follow the sleeve up through the bore.

You probably need to make a puller like Keith made for his Super C. Also you would need to measure your sleeve diameter and have the puck under cut .030" to clear the inside diameter of your sleeves. Hal

I forgot the picture of the puller. Hal
