Local Iron Supply house found the cross and bearing kit for me / It's a Weasler 200-0600. Complete with clips and zerk.
Dimensions are drawn on the photo box. 31/32 diameter bearings and a length of 2 5/16. $14 and change. And yeah 35 for a new steering wheel. But the old one was toast also.

No luck getting the old cross on with shaft on the tractor so I cut the steering wheel off and loosened the pedestal and out it came.
