wide front for 340

wondering what wide fronts will fit my 340 today. I have a few realatively close by but wanted to check what fits first. Super H, 350, 460, and M fronts are what are most immediately available. My first guess would be the super H or 350 but maybe none of the above???

The 340 is more or less unique to itself. I doubt if any of the tractors you mentioned will have widefront axles that will bolt up without a lot of modifications. I think you need to look for axles from possibly 340, maybe 404, 504, etc.
 
I am not familiar with 340s but its successor tractor was the 504. IH used modified Super C wide fronts under them.

Why not get a used aftermarket wide front and purchase new 340 mounting hardware from a dealer?

If nobody else responds to this topic and you want an original WFE, goto caseih.com and start comparing part numbers for the various tractors.
 
If youre not picky,and good with a torch and welder,you can modify just about anything to fit.Do a good hi quality job and few people would be the wiser.And,you will be proud of yourself for a job well done.good luck, Steve
 
No way the H and up series will fit as they have a frame and the 340 doesent. The 340 series is patterened after the C,SC,200 230 series.You will needone of those types sure not one from the H types. The info responded is from those who dont know about a 340. I am assuming you dont have a utility.
