bn oil pressure indicator

My oil is good in the bn , but the oil pressure indicator shows that there is no oil, How do I check the oil pressure indicator is working.

It may be plugged up with sludge. Take it off and make sure everything is free of hard sludge, you can just stick an air hose nozzle to it and see if the needle moves. If it doesn't, then you either have no oil pressure, (sometimes that can be fixed by servicing the oil pump), or your gauge is junk.
